Careful thought has been put into the book list, and all selections have been designated by the publishing industry as appropriate for young adult readers. The voices are diverse and the subject matter, at times, is challenging. Books designated YA (Young Adult) have the most mature themes. You are encouraged to explore these books and use your discretion in recommending them to your children and students.
