READERS RUMBLE

Dear Parents and Educators,

 

Armbrae Academy and Agricola Street Books welcome you to the 3rd Annual Middle School Readers Rumble! 

 

The Middle School Readers Rumble is a half-day team reading trivia challenge for students in Grade 7 to 9 within Nova Scotia. Students are encouraged to read widely from the list on the back to prepare. All answers to plot-based trivia questions will be the book title and author. Though the Readers Rumble is a friendly competition, stoking the passion of lifelong readers will always be the goal.

 

Team registration opens in September, 2025 for the April, 2026 main event. Titles have been discounted by 20% for school orders.

NOTE: Our reading list is carefully curated to reflect a diverse and balanced range of voices. Books marked 14+ may include mature themes. Educators and parents are encouraged to use discretion when recommending these titles.
